Governance and CQC Preparation Course
This course provides practices all the information they need in order to prepare and be fully compliant for a CQC inspection.
Developed by former inspectors with extensive knowledge of CQC requirements, our highly regarded course will give you all the information you need to develop effective governance systems and ensure that you are CQC ready.
The course includes six sessions, the first 5 sessions are via MS Teams and look at:
Session one
Introduction
This session provides an outline of the course content and gives a summary of key areas of the CQC regulatory framework and recent changes.
Session two
A safe service
An overview of requirements around safety, from infection control to recruitment and safeguarding.
Session three
An effective service
Guidance on how to prepare the evidence used to assess clinical effectiveness including advice on the data CQC uses and the Ardens clinical searches.
Session four
A caring and responsive service
Includes recommendations on how to effectively challenge below average National Patient Survey scores, manage complaints and identify population health needs.
Session five
A well led service
Looking at leadership, culture and systems of governance and oversight.
Session six
Action Planning
A face to face action planning session designed so that each participant leaves with the ability to develop a plan to get their practice “CQC ready”.
