Our mock CQC inspections provide a thorough and comprehensive assessment of where your service is in relation to CQC expectations.

Initial introductory phone call with your assessor where you can discuss your specific requirements and tailor your assessment to particular areas of concern.

Data sheet with all of the data that CQC look at on inspection highlighting any data that is likely to be flagged by CQC as an outlier.

On-site inspection day which includes an assessment of your practice against CQC’s five key questions.
A day can include:
Staff interviews.
Premises checks including:
Infection control, emergency equipment, prescription management, reception and waiting area information and vaccine storage.
Records checks including:
Recruitment files, training, complaints, significant events, safeguarding documentation, PGDs and PSDs, clinical audits and risk assessments.
A review of the key policies that CQC typically look at during their inspections.
Review of clinical governance systems including, but not limited to review of processes around: workflow, summarising, task and referral management and clinical failsafe systems.
Advice on clinical areas including the new CQC clinical searches.
Shortly after the mock inspection you will be provided with a detailed feedback summary, including links to helpful resources to address any issues identified.
